Hi, I’m Rogier.

I’m a choir arranger, conductor and music educator from the Netherlands. Over the years I’ve written more than 500 vocal arrangements that are now performed by choirs in more than 30 countries around the world.

I never set out to write arrangements just to fill a concert programme. I write music because I love seeing choirs come alive.

The moment a harmony suddenly clicks, a groove starts to feel effortless, or singers leave rehearsal with a smile—that’s what inspires me every single time.

Music Should Be Fun to Sing

When I write an arrangement, I always imagine the singers standing in rehearsal.

Will this harmony feel satisfying to sing?

Will every section have something interesting to do?

Will the music create energy instead of unnecessary complexity?

I believe an arrangement should challenge a choir in the right way, without becoming frustrating. Every voice deserves a meaningful role, whether it’s carrying the melody, supporting the groove or adding colour to the harmony.

That’s why my arrangements are known for their strong rhythmic feel, practical voice leading and singable lines that sound bigger than they feel.

“Exceptional Craftsmanship!”

Rogier has a remarkable ability to build an arrangement with a strong sense of progression. His arrangements are rich in harmonic interest, full of variety, and always keep both singers and audiences engaged.

Thanks to his craftsmanship, he creates music that is both challenging for the choir and highly singable for every vocalist.

“One of the Finest Arrangers in the Netherlands”

In my opinion, Rogier is one of the finest arrangers in the Netherlands.

He has a remarkable talent for surprising both singers and audiences with fresh, unexpected musical ideas, while always staying true to the character and integrity of the original song.

If you’re looking for an arrangement that is distinctive, beautifully crafted, and genuinely enjoyable to sing, I can wholeheartedly recommend him.

Every Choir Has Its Own Sound

No two choirs are the same.

Some love tight pop harmonies.
Others prefer emotional storytelling.
Some want a spectacular concert opener.
Others are looking for that unforgettable closing piece.

Whether you choose one of my catalogue arrangements or commission a completely new one, my goal is always the same: to create music that feels like it was written especially for your choir.

More Than 500 Arrangements Sung Around the World

Today, choirs from more than 30 countries perform my music.

From small community choirs to award-winning vocal groups, it’s a privilege to hear so many different ensembles give my arrangements their own unique sound.

Knowing that music written in my studio becomes part of concerts, festivals and unforgettable performances across the world is something I’ll never take for granted.

Why Choirs Keep Coming Back

Many conductors return because they know what to expect.

  • Contemporary sound

  • Strong groove and rhythmic energy

  • Singable harmonies

  • Interesting parts for every section

  • Practical rehearsal process

  • Music that audiences genuinely enjoy

For me, a successful arrangement isn’t measured by how complicated it looks on paper.

It’s measured by the smiles during rehearsal, the confidence on stage and the applause afterwards.

Let’s Create Something Together

Whether you’re looking for your next concert piece or a completely custom arrangement, I’d love to help.

My goal is simple:

To create music your choir will love rehearsing just as much as performing.
